Change your babies diaper before getting on the plane and get a diaper that's either a size bigger or an overnight diaper so you don't have to change any diapers on the flight. Plane restrooms are so tiny! Lol
Everything they said above! I also recommend bringing a baby wrap- I fed my newborn during take off then put in wrap (baby wearing) and it went great for us
@Sarah 100% agree with baby wrap. They're a lifesaver anywhere really. I don't leave home without one.
Definitely baby wear! If you haven’t chosen seats yet, do two aisle seats, it makes passing baby a breeze and it’s easy for whoever isn’t holding baby to get things for the other.
I always kept things I needed access to on outside pockets that I could reach one-handed (flew alone with my newborn). If they use a pacifier get one of those lanyard clips they’re a life saver, nothing worse than them spitting a pacifier on a dirty plane floor and then you can’t reach it. Aisle seat is a HUGE advantage. I also brought a small towel to put under baby if I needed to utilize the airport changing tables.
Feed during take off and landing. It helps with the ears popping. A pacifier works too, just not quite as well.
