How soon does endo pain return after giving birth?

After about 9 years going to the GP I was finally diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis and adenymiosis after a laparoscopy. I went through 4 rounds of IVF before falling pregnant and giving birth to my little girl and then amazingly I fell pregnant naturally with my second little girl when my youngest was 18 month. I have breastfed both my girls and have not had any endometriosis pain even when my periods return at 10 month post partum however I am so anxious about when these symptoms and pain will reappear. Does anyone have any experience of this? My girls are now 2 and 4 and the youngest is still having a breastfeed before bed. Before I had my girls I ended up going to hospital as the pain was that bad and my laparoscopies confirmed that my bowel is stuck to my uterus and I have endo in my bladder. I am DREADING the time when my symptoms reappear

Following because this is my first baby and the pain has been minimal during the pregnancy so I’m also worried about it returning worse

I had my endo pain kick back in with my postpartum bleeding. It was excruciating. My doctor put me straight back on the pill that doesn’t have a break at my 6 week check up.

@Kristie I’m sorry to hear this I hope this has kept the pain at bay

@Cassandra keeping everything crossed for you

I feel very lucky that I’m not currently having pain- my 2 miracle girls have been my saviours ! BUT I know this pain will return… I’m just so scared for when it does x

for me about 10ish months before my pain came back properly
