UK C section mums - badger app

C section mum here (Uk), mine was via phone call. Was booked for the 39+4

Have you not had info about the pre-op? I definitely got a letter but I never made it as the twins came early. I think my original c section date was on badger as well.

@Madeleine not at the moment! I saw her Monday this week to get the go ahead (I'm 32weeks) and we picked the date to be the 9th and she said it should come up on badger but nothing has come up! She was a bit all over so now I'm panicking she's not actually booked me in 😂

@Viv I've been booked in for the 9th May on Monday this week and I'm 32 weeks. It's just not showing on my badger app whereas all my Appts with midwives/hospital etc come up immediately so I'm panicking I'm not actually booked in now 😂

I have given a pre-op & C-Section date verbally by a doctor and realised it isn't showing on my badger notes. Apparently, that is normal. It isn't meant to show on a badger notes.

Ah no that sounds normal, they are quite slow. I would probably ring up the ante natal unit just to check though as they sometimes forget to update the system.

Is it possible to give her a call and express your concerns? It's possible that's it's been booked but not on the app as she stated. I had a bit of an error with mine, got a call when I was 37 weeks and was told that I had been booked for the 7th of March, but when I attended my pre-op their system said it was actually booked for the 8th. I know a day doesn't make any difference but I had already planned childcare for that day. So i insisted they check properly or correct whatever went wrong which they eventually did. So I guess if in doubt, just call them and have things rectified.
