Should I take plan b?

I’m 7 weeks pp and my husband and I decided to have sex with a Condom and it broke. He didn’t finish inside me but I’m still scared because we used the “pull out method” as our previous contraceptive and now we have the 7 week old baby- I am not ready to be pregnant again. I also am breastfeeding and pumping which I’ve heard can be used as a contraceptive… anyways just looking for some advice and how to navigate this!

To be on the safe side I would take it. Peace of mind

Have you stopped bleeding? Have you cycled again? Like did you notice your discharge change to clear, stretchy & gooey looking that comes with ovulation?

I would to be on the safe side - if it were me!

I wouldn’t if I were you

@Dede I did stop bleeding but I haven’t cycled yet or had that type of discharge or really any discharge yet.

For peace of mind and on the safe side, I would!

Breastfeeding is not an effective contraception. As I walked out of the ward my midwife said “breastfeeding is not contraception, I don’t want to see you back here in a few months missy”. To be safe, I would take plan b and discuss actual contraception.

Take plan b
