is it better to make baby pancakes with flour or oats?

I see many recipes of baby pancakes with oats and was wondering if this is better than flour? I usually use flour

I made some healthy waffles with no oats or flower, just bananas, eggs & blueberries. (Recipe was for pancakes but I threw them in my waffle iron)

I’ve done both and flour was definitely more of a hit than the oats - I also preferred the flour

I think making them with oats instead of flour is more about the added nutrition that oats have over flour. But if baby likes the flour ones better, then go for it 😃

I've tried both, Bubba hated the oats so we used flour instead. The oats taste is a bit, ordinary tbh. I tried putting a bit of honey once he was old enough to have honey but nope. Still wasn't a fan. So flour all the way 😆

I make blender wheat pancakes using whole grain and they are always a hit in our house. The recipe uses wheat kernels, which is great but I like doing a mix of oat, wheat, or barely. (I never use only oats cause they fall apart abd come out flat) Different grains give a little different outcome, but we love them all! Here is the recipe I use, its super easy too. https://www.melskitchencafe.com/whole-wheat-blender-pancakes-my-new-favorite-breakfast/

I do both

Wheat is a common allergen so oats are "safer" and they tend to have added nutrients but wheat pancakes have a better texture and taste.

Oatssss. I've been making them like that for years. White flour has no nutritional value at all
