Vaginal air bubbles/Loose vag?

I’m 7 months PP and I’ve been having these weird vaginal farts, I think they are called queefs. They used to be very loud when I was about a month PP but now they’re a little quieter but it’s still odd. My friend who has no kids says that mothers get it because we are looser now and there is no hymen to keep us tight/to keep the air in and another cause is because the baby weakened my pelvic floor when I was carrying. I have been walking and have noticed a slight difference that makes me hopeful but it seems like as soon as i get hopeful that things are changing around for my body i check my vagina or take a picture/video and it just looks much wider now at the opening , if I do a kegel it normally closes the hole from what I can tell but obviously once I’m relaxed its back to looking a little more open. Does this truly mean that I am loose?? Is my vagina damaged from childbirth?😭

Here for the responses, I’m curious as well

This happened to me when I have sex in certain positions. Does this happened to you while having sex or through the day ?

@Jenny only in sexual position, primarily/solely doggy lol

I’m here for the responses I’m 4 months pp and feel so self conscious about it. And I looked at one picture/video and made me feel disgusted.

Oh then no girl you are good . That’s normal, your partner is just pushing air into your vaginal canal. This happened to me even prior to having a baby and my Ob said it’s nothing to worry about it’s just certain positions that makes us queef lol

I had a c section and this happened to me … prior to child birth this happened to me and I am tight ( my doctor literally told me to make sure my spouse isn’t too big because of how small I’m built… Air can get trapped for many reasons! Not always associated with being loose!

I’m sorry but you have a lot of misinformation here. You can’t be or stay “ loose” after giving birth. It does take some time for the tissues and muscles to recover but it will go back to normal unless you had an injury or other complications during delivery. Your hymen is a thin layer of tissue that usually breaks away when you first have sex but it can be broken from masturbation or even just regular activities like cycling. It has nothing to do with tightness or air. Kegels are good but sometimes depending on the state of your pelvic floor, it can make things worse. What you are seeing is because of some type of pelvic floor dysfunction. An “open” vuvla could indicate prolapse. You should see a pelvic floor therapist. This is all treatable. I’ve had two babies for reference and dealt with pelvic floor issues and have done therapy for it.

Not to sound mean but your vagina is forever changed 😂. But that's alright learn to accept it and your man should be understanding. It's him and his big head baby's fault 🤣. Seriously though tell him not to ram it in, it will push air into your vagina. Make sure it is moist down there and go slow, don't spread too much. Things we think are weird are a turn on for men 🤷🏽‍♀️

I used to do those when I was really young like 9-10-11 yrs old and tell my cousins I could fart whenever I wanted. I didn’t know I was queefing till I was older 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’ve never had any issues after 4 babies but also have seen Pelvic floor PT after the last 2.

I had prior baby and currently now postpartum too. I’ve looked down there and yes it’s different for sure but I wouldn’t trade it since I have my miracle baby, I will be starting kegels and I’ve been walking as well

You don’t become loose after having a baby it’s snaps right back to how it was before … this is coming from my OB dr as well
