Poshmark

Has anyone used Poshmark before? Can you please explain how it is used when selling an item? I’ve got some people interested in a listing I posted but don’t understand how it works. Thanks in advance!

It’s been a few years but they take a cut. If I remember your item needs to be $7+ for it to be worth listing. Shipping can change that, though….

@Brandi Thank you!

Poshmark is awesome. Super easy way to sell clothes and buy. I usually do bundle deals when I buy to save on shipping! It's a flat rate compared to other sites. Are you wanting to sign up? If so they have a referral program where you get a $10 credit using my referral code/link and when you make your first purchase I'll get a $10 credit too! My code is: KI_CHRI92 Referral download app link: https://posh.mk/5vgLrdSBBIb

👋 I’ve been on poshmark since 2017 and am fascinated by their business model; i love talking about it, and the Psychology of it all! I was using Poshmark to find loving homes for my most favorite pieces that no longer fit, then I realized how much pocket money I made of of it and kept selling with used maternity clothes, clothes the kids are outgrowing… When selling an item- Other users can ♥️ an item to save it to their Likes list while they keep shopping similar items from other users or keep looking around your listings. A ♥️ also can signal to you that someone is interested and you could offer them a price drop as incentive to buy. It seems buyers often ♥️ items and then will wait to see if the sellers offer a better price. The buyers can also make an Offer to negotiate a price. Did that get to your question?

I’ve been a Poshmark ambassador for a few years. Some weeks I sell a lot and some weeks I don’t, honestly depends on how active I am on the app. The best advice is to post new clothes as often as possible- someone said post one or two items a day so it’s not overwhelming. And then like once or twice a day just share everything in your closet. I’ve sold almost 70 items in the last year and a half, it’s not much but it gives me extra spending money since I’m a stay at home mom. I just sell things that don’t fit me and my husband and have sold some stuff for my brother as well. I’ve never purchased other stuff to sell in my shop but plenty of people do that and do it as a job. I just have sooo much stuff in my closet that I haven’t added more inventory. After my second pregnancy I sold all the clothes I knew would probably never fit again and have just continued adding stuff to sell as my body has changed over the years. Poshmark takes like 30 or 40% which isn’t horrible for how secure

They make everything. And I make wayyyy more selling on Poshmark than if I sold my clothes at Plato’s closet or at a yard sale. Here’s my code if you’d like to join! And you can check out my shop. I recommend buying a mannequin too or just make sure you’re able to show the clothes well. https://posh.mk/O6azQE3GhJb
