Tinned mushy peas or chippy food

Has anyone fed their 9m old tinned mushy peas or fishcakes from a chippy before? Is it ok or too salty? Or what about fish but taking the batter off?

I haven’t given him from a chip shop before but he has had those Young’s fish cakes you get in supermarkets! If you’re doing fish de-battered, just make sure there’s no tiny bones in it…that’s the only thing that worries me about actual fillets of fish😅🤣. Xx

I gave my daughter mushy peas from the chippy when she was 6 months old. It was only a little bit, so if it was salty, she still wasn't getting much. She also had fish without the batter.

I've given mine a chippy, he had a bit of everyone's so chips, fish, nuggets and mushy peas. Salt can be balanced over the whole week so we tend to use no salt at home or very minimal like only in bread then once a week we eat out and don't feel guilty about it at all x
