Hot flashes
So my period is supposed to come on Wednesday and I’d say for the past week I’ve been getting hot flashes… I’m 31 years old. I’ve never had hot flashes before my period is due so it feels weird. I have no other symptoms other than just very mild cramps. Do you know what it could mean? Do I need to see a doctor?

@Gabbie thank you so much for googling it. I think I’m going to wait until I get my period and if I’m still getting them after I’m going to contact my Gp.

Hi :) I've just googled and it says hot flashes can happen in the week before your period due to hormonal changes. However, if it isn't normal for you to have them, I'd see a doctor. That way they can check it out and rule out infections or anything harmful. And if you're sexually active, I'd do a pregnancy test too, just in case as hot flashes can be an early symptom :) Hope you're okay!
