Hello

Hi everyone, I'm just wondering if anyone on the spiritual path has found it hard to make friends? I've always struggled, since I was young and the end result is apart from my husband and kids, I don't have anyone around me. I didn't used to be that spiritual, though I guess it's always been there in the background unnamed. I've always been interested in the mystical, natural side of life. But I've met few other people the same. I think I might be a highly sensitive person, I do find it kind of hard to be around a lot of people a lot. I've had friends come and go, but I've not found my tribe or lasting friend. So I'm wondering if anyone else feels similar? Also wondering if anyone is in the West Sussex area, looking to chat and/or maybe meet up sometime? I love doing oracle card readings, collecting crystals, reading about spiritual development, witches etc. Love being in the countryside, gardening, making things from clay, and learning new things. I work in social care and 1 long shift with two days off in-between. I'm training at the moment so I'm in a bit more. 🌹

I’ve just started delving deeper into my spiritual journey. I believe that you think it’s a struggle as it’s a limiting belief you have, maybe from being a child? I’ve found since going on this path that I’ve become more sensitive around others and have started losing interest in being around a lot of others, although I don’t mind occasionally! I think I’ve been going through some sort of spiritual awakening! lol. When you feel you’re going to be more sensitive to others energies, do you ground and protect daily beforehand? That should help. x

@Natalie hi Natalie, yes Def from childhood. But not a limiting belief, more like learnt behaviour as a result of trauma. I do ground and protect as well. I gradually lost interest too and I've been years without even trying to make contact with anyone. Just me, my husband and kids.

Yes it’s the same for me. People who do self healing and meditation retreats have felt like my tribe. Is there is vipassana course in your neck of the woods that would be of interest?
