You can hire the expensive fold down to cabin size buggies. Have a Google,that might be your best option because at least they're small and light and easy to carry if you don't end up using it. Then just take one decent one for your 2 year old.
If you aren't bothered about second hand and don't want go spend much look on Facebook market place
@Emily no I’m not bothered about them being second had but even there they are pricy especially round my area for some reason just a simple pram going for 70 🤦🏼♀️

Just get cheap buggy’s off fb marketplace. That’s what I did for holiday I think I got it for £15 clean no marks. Had a tiny bit of issue with one of the wheels - we didn’t test it properly and got it in a rush 😂 but it was only £15 so we’re just getting rid of it now🤷🏻♀️
