Side sleeper

Anyone got any advice or experience with side sleepers. My LB has recently started sleeping on his side, he’s 9 months. He’s not a great sleeper and hasn’t yet slept through the night. He wakes Every 45mins to an hour and once settled he keeps turning onto his side. He seems happy and content but I believe it’s still a sids risk until one? Every time I move him back he rewakes!!! I’m on a week of zero sleep send help ha ha!!

My LO also sleeps mostly on his side, he will roll onto his tummy and back again but this is where he is most comfortable.

My little one will only sleep in front or side now. As long as they can role it should be ok I believe

My LB mainly sleeps on his front now, with some side and back sleeping. I think as long as they can roll from from front to back themselves, then it’s okay.

My LG sleeps on her stpmach and has from the moment she could roll. Its only a risk if you put them on their tummy and they cant move themselves to move their head etc. If he rolls there himself he can move his head so he can breathe

Try not to worry! My baby has been a side/front sleeping since 4 months! If they can rescue themselves its all good. 💖

Same here, no advice but so far I just let her turn as she wants.

I spoke to my health visitor about this and she said as long as they can roll from tummy to back it’s fine to put them down on there side asleep if that’s what they prefer

@Jess Thanks 🙏 for your comment! I may actually get some sleep myself if I leave him on his side. My little man must be more comfortable on his side. Always the same side.

@Amy Thanks 🙏 for your comment! I may actually get some sleep myself if I leave him on his side. As soon as I put him down on his back he rolls!
