Sleep trained Floorbed

What do your sleep trained kids sleep on when traveling if they normally sleep on a floor bed in their own room? And do they sleep in a shared room?

When travelling it's pretty difficult to stick to routine so bed time ends up a bit later but then hes extra tired by then so a shared room isn't as big of a deal. We put down a mat or flat quilt and towel, or we've also brought a crib mattress with a mattress cover with us. I usually have to sit with him to get him to sleep unlike at home. He never let's us sleep in much in a different environment so planning an extra long nap time/ quiet time helps or even just knowing that he'll probably sleep more in the car so plan events before and after nap/ travel time.
