I just got paid- didn’t get a letter
@Sian the only reason I am worrying is because I probably applied more than a month ago? Just unsure if I did it right or not 😬 hopefully they will reply soon. So many things to worry about, don’t need this waiting game on my head as well 🤣
I got mine approved quite quickly. Someone else i know, theirs was taking a while and when she called for the 2nd time they said they couldnt verify the child so needed some extra stuff. After this was sent she got it quicky cxx
I applied on 1st March and my baby was born Jan 30th. I checked my status the other day and it said they won’t respond until June, just like you. It’s so shit.
How do you check your status ?
Baby was born 18th Jan. I applied 8th Feb & got paid 7th March! x
Baby was born 18th Jan, I had my first payment 14th Feb! I did mine online, letter came long time after 1st payment to say it was done
I phoned them up and they sorted it over the phone and had all mine back dated from February xx
Update: apparently my claim wasn’t actually registered for some reason so had to reapply. Thank you for all your replies x
@Amy you go on gov on the same page you start your application and you should have on a second page the option to check your claim x
I applied when my daughter was 2 weeks old and got payment when she was 6 weeks, they didn’t phone or anything I got the backdated pay before I got a letter to say it was approved
I’m currently on hold on the phone to them to try & see when to expect my payment,. I applied over 4 weeks ago & not heard nothing! So want to double check everything was done right x
I sent mine on the 23rd feb I received a payment on the 25th March
I sent mine off on 5th March and i’ve still not heard anything x

@Amy I also did mine 5th March.. but I rang earlier and he said because I actually applied the day we registered my baby. They had to reapply for me on the 12th as you have to wait 24 hours he said (I didn’t realise that) so that’s what the hold up for me is. He said I should receive in 1-2 weeks! So hopefully you’ll get yours soon x

I applied about a week or so ago and got a letter the other day. So don’t worry- they are replying!
