Has anyone who has had early losses gone on to be prescribed progesterone to take from cycle day 21?

I have not taken prior to confirmed pregnancy due to not ovulating predictably. But i have taken suppositories starting from confirmed pregnancy test. Worked the last two times.i do have a friend who took throughout cycle due to shortend cycle because of lack of progesterone. Took them 18 months to conceive.
