Advice?
My son has struggled to go to the toilet since he was born but since he’s gotten older it’s got worse, I’ve phoned the doctors and they give me these sachets that go in a drink for him which are supposed to help, they do a little but not much and when he’s trying to go he’s in so much pain, I’ve rang again but now waiting for a appointment, anyone else have the same problem?

@Hannah oh really, thank you I feel so bad for him and not sure what else to do, he eats so well and drinks so much water but I feel like there’s got to be something going on with his stomach for him to be struggling so much, n that would be amazing if you have anymore advice xx
Yes, my daughter is on cosmacol too. I was told to start on 1 sachet a day. Didn't do anything so I upped it to 2. After 3 days that seemed to do the trick. I then brought it back down to one once i knew she was completly empty. Been on them nearly a year now as she stool withholds. There isn't a quick fix unfortunately. I'm happy to chat more if you like.
