Follow on milk
My Health visitor said there was no point changing to follow on milk after 6 months but I’m just curious. Did any moms change to follow on milk or did your LO stay on the same milk till they turned 1?

Follow on milk is mostly a marketing technique, that’s what my health visitor said.
Yeah I was told by a HV that cos they’re unable to legally advertise first infant milk, they make the follow on milk to basically get the name out there! So they can advertise on tv etc not sure how legit or if that’s complete bs but it kinda of makes sense!
I only changed to follow on milk because it seems to be cheaper! My HV also said it doesn't matter if you don't change

I’ve changed purely because follow on milks are allowed to be on offer & you can gain clubcard/boots points on them, but none of that is allowed for first infant milk. There isn’t a right or wrong, basically the same ingredients in both. Follow on milk has a slightly higher iron content x
