Tooth problems?

If you have a preemie especially very low birth weight who is now older: did you have any issues with their teeth? Mine is 12 m corrected and still no teeth. I read about someone in the same situation and the kids teeth came in yellow and missing enamel. Wondering how common that is vs just being delayed. Should we see a dentist now?

I think it’s hit or miss with when teeth come for preemies. My son got most of his teeth with his actual age vs corrected. And he was 2lbs 4oz and 28 weeks. He’s got 8 teeth fully out and two molars. He is still missing some canines. And 4 came in at one time basically. No issues with his enamel or color. I don’t think most dentists will see kids until they have a tooth but don’t let that stop you from reaching out.
