7-month regression ??!!

Can someone please tell me if there is a sleep regression at 7 months? My boy turned 7 months today. He used to be a fantastic sleeper, often sleeping 12 hours straight. For the past few nights, he has been waking up A LOT, all at different hours. I turn the monitor on to find him on his front, crying and frustrated that he can't move (He can roll from his back to front, but not yet front to back). He is teething with his two front teeth coming through which must be uncomfortable for him, and he's also going through a cranky frustrated stage, as he is really wanting to crawl/be on the move, but he can't yet. I don't know what's causing him to wake, he has enough sleep throughout the day and he is good at having daytime naps. Please tell me this is just a phase and will pass soon, I'm so tired from the broken sleep and having to keep going into his room to settle him.

So a regression can happen at anytime where there is a developmental leap-so baby learning a new skill…sitting, crawling, rolling etc etc and of course sleep disturbances can be down to teething and pain too-all babies handle this differently. Can you give him some pain relief to see if that helps. I am confident that if his sleep was solid it will most definitely come back. Offer comfort if cause when needed but also stay consistent with his routine! I know it’s hard Mama but it will pass x

There’s an 8-10 months one so he could just have it early which my little one did too, but also teething can keep them up and make them fussy through the night mines the worst for it🥲but it does pass the broken sleep is the worst but will get easier

I have this with my daughter and I was told that apparently when they’re learning a new skill they tend to wake up more to practice that skill - for example rolling over.. I’m hoping it doesn’t last long 😅
