Potty training?! Need advice
FTM mom here to a 14mo old baby girl. She’s recently started to tell me when she’s pooping, she’ll get into a deep squat and say “poopy” in between pushes. I want to start potty training maybe but would love some advice especially from seasoned moms! I know it’s early still but I want to know where to start. Are open training potties better? Are miniature toilet potties better? Should I get something colorful that sings??

Our daughter squats to pee and poop! She doesn’t verbally communicate but she’ll lead me to her changing table once done and ask for a new diaper! I was advised to cold turkey her one day. Just put her in underwear. She’ll have a lot of accidents but will slowly understand how uncomfortable it is and hold it until there’s a place to release
How do you all have these intelligent babies. Wow
Yes , def start with a miniature toilet. Babies can more easily express when they have to poop versus pee so have her sometimes sit in the toilet to try pooping. It never too early to start.
