Graduation gift

Hey guys! Looking for some ideas on what to get my step daughter for her high school graduation. My fiance and I are kind of stumped. We are throwing her a massive party. But I want to get her something meaningful and unique if that makes sense. But I also know she’s going to need a lot for her dorm and was thinking I could also get something for her like that? What do the cool kids have in their dorms? I’m sure she will be happy with just getting cash, but I feel it’s impersonal being my daughter lol. But I also feel like, it’s our responsibility to get her dorm stuff so is that really a gift?! Lol I’m stumped. I was also thinking I could get $10-$20 gift cards here and there for the next two months so she’ll have a ton and can bring that to college. Only problem is - everything is on campus. She never needs to leave. She has a meal plan and all. 3 meals a day and 2 snacks 🤣. And if she does there’s no “generic” stores. It’s all different boutiques and cafes that I would need to drive 2 hours to, to get gift cards from each place. I can’t go to like CVS and buy gift cards off the rack. Send me ideas!!!!

I'm all for experiences instead of gifts... what does she like? Would she want to get pampered for a day at the spa like get her hair done, mani, pedi, massage, facial maybe with a friend or you for some bonding. Some places even do lunch in between!

Depends on your overall budget. Around that time, I was really into road trips and wanted to do one with my friends. Enough to cover gas, hotel, and food for 2-3 days would have been awesome. Maybe there is something in town that she would like to do. In my town, they have some overnight escape rooms that are pretty interesting.

An essential oil diffuser, spa stuff, pads, skin stuff. All the things that would be a hassle. Nothing like a super care package

U can get her gift cards to different places in the area of her college. I seen similar concepts on social media. N they place all the cards in a book/card. Like Starbucks target a taco spot etc should do. Or u can give her toiletry basket that is personalized n includes months of supplies for her. Even bulk items from Sam's club is exciting as well
