Anyone else's bubs struggling with playing on the floor?
Little boy is 5.5 months and will play on the floor happily for a few minutes until he rolls onto his tummy, then he just cries and wants to be picked up. He has good upper body strength, can roll from back to tummy, but not the other way. He just wants to be held constantly. It makes it so hard to get things done. I don't want to just put him in a carrier while at home because it hurts my back

Oh gosh same here with my 5 month old! Although it has helped lately if I roll her back to her back, I have had to do it quite a few times so she’s learnt to then do it herself most of the time. If she doesn’t then I’ll pop her in the bouncer or sit me up seat with a toy if I need to get things done and don’t want to carry her around.
Yep! Same situation here. We've got him a highchair and he likes sitting in that and watching me cook breakfast etc
