8 week baby check up
When did everyone’s babies have their 8 week check up, was it at their immunisations? I had my 6 week check up today and thought they might do it there as I’d been told by other mums they did both at the same time, but when I was there they only focused on me

My little one had hers 2 weeks after this appointment due to the baby clinic not being run on certain days. But they normally run late x
did you have to book them yourself or did you receive an appointment?
I had to book. Did this straight after my 6 week check up x

Mine were booked by GP and there were 9 weeks die to Christmas break.
Doing the full baby check at 8 weeks with immunisations works out better as you can start using 2+ months calpol to help with symptoms. Some clinics don’t do it at 6 weeks to make it easier for mums for this reason as under 2 months there’s no medicine available to help with fever etc
