Fussy eating please help :(

My daughter is 2 and half approximately and doesn’t really eat any vegetables other than olives. It’s beginning to stress me out. Below are a list of foods that she will have without fussing most of the time Chicken Bread Garlic bread Strawberries Orange Yoghurt Porridge style yoghurt Cheese Tuna and mayo sandwich Quorn Occasionally beans Rice sometimes Egg Chips Can anyone advise on how I can disguise veg in any of these? If she sees it she will not eat it and will pick it out. Also anyone else kid likes similar foods? If so please suggest other foods I could try.

Hidden veggie cheese sauce of the best option I have for you. Cauliflower and carrots cut up small and blended into a cheese sauce. Otherwise I’m in the same boat I’m afraid. My 2 year old doesn’t even eat half of your list and the doctors say “she’s healthy, growing and thriving don’t worry” like erm excuse me she’s not getting the right nutrients from her food but sure… 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hang in there sweetie this too shall pass ♥️

That’s a pretty good list and a good range of food groups really! Can you make quorn bolognaise with finely chopped tomatoes/ carrots/ onion/ courgette etc? Or very finely chopped spinach in the tuna mayo? Blitz up a tomato/ red pepper type sauce to have with the chips?

My LG is sooo blooming fussy but she loves corn on the cob, have you tried that? She finds it funny because she can hold it with the little handles and do it herself x

@Leanne.E.Ryan thank you, how do I make the cheese sauce. Xx

@Vicky no but I have tried normal sweet corn or mini sweet corn sticks she don’t want them

@Louise hates pasta sauce

@Maria you steam down the veg, blend it to a soup and add it into either store bought or home made cheese sauce with a little extra cheese to hide the taste xx Also I manage to hide mushrooms, carrots and peppers by blending them into my bolognaise as well maybe give that a try? Good luck hun xx

I dehydrated veg in my air fryer and then blitzed into a powder. Add a spoon of veg powder to any savoury meal/sandwich filling etc.

P.s. cheese sauce - melt butter, take off heat and stir in flour to make a paste. Put back on heat and add milk, stirring constantly until it thickens. Take off heat and stir in grated cheese until it’s melted 😊

@Beth how long do you put it in air fryer? And what heat? Do you have to boil it first xx?

@Maria I just thinly sliced raw veg that was in my fridge and then lay it out flat and dehydrated it for about 3 hours ish 🤷‍♀️. Basically once it was crispy I took it out, let it cool and then blitzed it into powder. He’s none the wiser and I feel a bit better about his fussy eating. Honestly his dinner tonight was ready brek with mashed banana 🙄

@Beth yeah can totally relate. My daughter had the tiniest bit of beans and a few chips for dinner 🤦🏻‍♀️started off by just eating the sauce of the beans even though she used to live them so had to kind of force her to eat the actual beans too
