Sleep training

So my LB is 13 months old he’s always been a good sleeper up until turning 1 woke up a couple of times a night some times but went back off pretty easy but since turning 1 he just wakes up at about 1/2 am and is up for about 2 hours each night before he eventually goes back off. I am considering sleep training as I am struggling with the lack of sleep and working full time just wanting to get recommendations and hear peoples experiences with sleep training.

What is his daytime routine like, how much day sleep is he having? Most likely too much if this is happening

@Chelsea he used to have 2 naps a day each 1 hour 15 mins long but he started refusing his afternoon nap 2 weeks ago so he’s is on one 2 hour 2.5 hour nap a day now xx

Maybe start shortening that to 1.5 hours instead and see if that makes a difference. My boys routine is roughly 7am wake, 11.30-1pm nap and 7pm bed time

@Chelsea yeah I’m trialling new routines to see what works for us. On nursery days he goes in the afternoon so he usually has a shorter nap anyway. He had 1.5 hour nap today went to bed at 7 and he’s already woken up 🙈 he has been teething and I think we have hit some form of regression. Just feels like it’s never ending x
