I have taken progesterone suppositories with both my recent pregnancies after having miscarriage my first pregnancy and constant progesterone issues. I have a daughter who was born last May and I'm currently 28 weeks pregnant. The only real side effects that I experienced from it was a bit of a headache because I'm sensitive to it. Constipation and my back end hips started to hurt a lot earlier into pregnancy my doctor said it's because it triggers the body to start relaxing earlier for some people. Also it hasn't been as early for this second pregnancy as it was for the first. Best of luck

Ty!

@Justine everyone says they’ve taken suppositories lol they have me taking it orally so I’m wondering if they work the same or if I should change

So suppositories are going to release the hormone directly to your cervix, if you take them orally it's not as direct but it still does the same thing. With my first i took suppositories only with my second I switched from suppositories to oral medication at 10 weeks and I took from 10 to 15 weeks. I know I took them longer than people usually take them just cuz I have other health risks so they just wanted to make sure that I was getting enough hormone.
