@Katy I don’t have a health visitor yet but my midwife checked it all the other day we’re back there tomorrow xx
Hey, this is normal lovely. If baby has wet and dirty nappies and hasn't dropped a significant amount of weight, then they are getting what they need. Babies go through periods of cluster feeding, which is when they want feeding very regularly/near constant. Babies also like to BF for comfort, so isn't always a case of hunger ethier. It is difficult, but won't last forever x
Hey lovely, how did you sort the trapped wind?
@Georgina infacol xxx
Lovely thank you, I've got some coming tonight so hoping that will work for us🤞 do you give it before every feed? xx
There are a few different things to try so instead of asking you a million and one questions, I'll recommend this lactation consultant on Instagram who has the MOST helpful content - I honestly learned so much about breastfeeding and babies from her, have a scroll through and you'll find answers to questions you didn't even know you had: https://www.instagram.com/lucywebberfeedingsupport_ibclc?igsh=MWZhcHp0cm56YjQ0Nw==
@Georgina I haven’t been just if I can tell she’s really uncomfortable xxx
Stick with it, call the health visitor to come in and check and make sure they are gaining weight and check the latch but around this time feeding alllll the time and all night is normal at this age. It's hard, it feels so so lonely and it's exhausting but it's completely normal and it will get better xx
