Road trip tips

We will be taking a 5 hour road trip in a few weeks and I’m looking for any tips to keep baby entertained and comfortable as possible. He loves to walk so this won’t be his favorite activity. We’ll of course have to stop at some points but any recommendations would be appreciated. Baby will be just 11 months by then

Following! Going on 2 road trips this summer, both 11 hours 🥲 baby will be 12 months and 14 months. I’m so anxious

@Bre oh wow!! It’s going to be ok but I’m really anxious too 🫠 the flights were just too expensive

My daughter is 10 months and loves walking when we take her on road trips, we stop every time we have to use the bathroom to let her get out to play and stopping before hand so every hour I know it’s a lot of stopping, but it seems to keep my daughter as calm as possible being seated for that long. Also bring a lot of toys that your baby can play with and snacks that you’d be OK giving your baby while you are driving

My husband and I have a Cabin and it’s about 6 hours one way, and we’ve gone there multiple times since we have had our little on. 1. Lots of toys! Preferably their favorite ones 2. Preload movies into an iPad or tablet, this is pretty much the only time my little one gets screen time. 3. Take10-15 breaks every couple hours for your little one to stretch 4. If they get really fussy someone sitting in the back with them, playing with them or just being there with them helps a lot, 5. Last but not least postpone naps for the road! Depending on when you guys are leaving. If it’s later in the day I usually won’t let my little one nap until it’s time to hit the road. Or if it’s early in the morning I push back their bed time a little so they will still be really sleepy in the morning when we leave. A sleeping baby is the easiest to travel with 😂

@Aysia thank you!
