You are not failing. Being a mum is a lot. It’s such a hard job! All your little one needs is you - everything else is just props. Take him out for a walk and point to things around him, read him a story, chat to him about his day, roll a ball along the floor with him, sing nursery rhymes… Is there anyone in your life who can maybe even take him for a few hours so you can have a cup of tea and a chill the f*** out sesh? You’re doing great i promise xxx

You’re doing fine! Walking might not happen for another 6 months and that’s totally within the normal timeframe so please don’t fret over that. Lots of babies skip crawling completely too. Consider some baby groups or outings to the library or park, get some baby instruments and rock out to your favourite songs. Nursery rhymes are great for their development, especially ones they can join in with like ‘if you’re happy and you know it’ or ‘the wheels on the bus’. Books are always a good thing! We got a disco ball an my LB goes crazy for the lights so you can do baby sensory and stuff in your own home :) You absolutely aren’t alone in this - for every proud mama post (which is always lovely to see), there’s probably another 10 women feeling like they’re failing. You’re doing everything you can for your baby and he loves you ❤️

Baby groups! P.s you are not failing, it’s hard trying to entertain them all day. Also don’t worry about not crawling, etc. when they do start it’s exhausting so savor this time!!
