Incognito pls message me, in exactly the same position with my little boy xx
Hi 👋🏼 my daughter was the same with her dummy was super attached it but we’ve recently got rid it after trying for so long. I got a pair of scissors and told her that she was too big for a dummy now and that we’ve got to send it of to the dummy fairy for the babies. She cut the dummy with help, I then put it on the side when she wasn’t looking I swapped it for something she likes. This has seemed to have worked she asked for it the first few days and I explained what happened and now she doesn’t ask for it all. Hope this helps a little sorry for the long paragraph
Just remember every child is different. They'll do it at their own pace..maybe add it into their routine. Sitting on potty first thing/after breakfast and before bedtime. Make it a normal part of their day so they can get used to sitting on it. Obviously no major rush x
On 2nd birthday we put all dummies in a box and said sending them to baby next morning he woke up to surprises new cars choc and art set.
Even my daughter, really stressful ..Her big sister started using potty when she was only 1 year, but with this one it’s different..
