Birth plans.

Hi ladies, currently 25w5d and thinking a lot about my birth plan as time feels like it’s flying. I’d love an unmediated birth but don’t even know where to start in preparation. Have you all given this any thought? What are your plans? How are you prepping?

Me too! I’m 25w5d. I’m currently taking a hypnobirthing class. My hope is to have a non-medicated low intervention birth. I hope this class helps - they give you guidance and resources for natural birthing.

@Janice due date twins!!! And oh love that. Are you doing it online or in person?

I took a Bradley method class in person with my husband when preparing for a home birth with my first. I also downloaded the Expectful app, I loved the meditations they had and I found the courses super helpful! I am 26 weeks and am downloading the expectful app again right now so I can be better prepped for baby no. 2.

Bradley Birth class helped me a lot before my first. I’d like to prep by walking more (ie toning birthing muscles) but I’ve got what I think is SPD so my movement is annoying limited. Instead, I’m practicing relaxing through the pain of SPD.

Im currently taking the Thompson method breastfeeding course but she breaks down everything about medicated and unmediated birth. She is amazing, a midwife for 45 yrs with so much knowledge. Her course even comes with her birth plan template that you can use!

I swear by this online class. My husband and I felt way more prepared after watching/learning. I also listen to her podcast daily to hear positive birth stories!! https://www.myessentialbirth.com/getstarted

This is the podcast! https://open.spotify.com/show/15J3vwYGYp91XswwuYbUv3?si=2-sGJxZNRySuMfgTMOpX_g

@Liss it’s in person. There is a local doula in my area that teaches the class.
