Nightlight battle

My bonus son is scared of the dark, understandable, we purchased him a sonic night light and a galaxy light…. He cries saying he needs the big light or the bathroom light on and I refuse. My husband thinks I’m being unreasonable as he can easily just turn the light off when he leaves. However I also feel we shouldn’t feed into that as he has TWO nightlights and can see everything perfectly fine. Plus his eyes or closed so no. I need to notate that my husband is one of those ppl who forgets to turn off light and I’ve woken up many times to the light being on all night. I’m in charge of the light bill and I swear they both run it sky high if I didn’t follow behind them. Am I being unreasonable with not letting him sleep with the big light or bathroom light? (DISCLAIMER: the bathroom door is usually closed when he sleeps, he’s not here in this picture) Update: I got the projector galaxy night light from TikTok to replace the previous two. It’s really pretty actually, it moves and I can be pointed to be at the top of the bed so fingers crossed
