Heart Palpitations?

I’ve had heart palpitations every night for the last 2 weeks, my nurse (have never seen an MD) chalked it up to stress and anxiety, which I must admit I have a lot of both. She said if I’m super worried to go to the ER?? Seems like it being down played. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m reading it common because of how hard our hearts are working now, but I don’t know anyone else that has ever dealt with this so it’s becoming worrisome. It keeps me up every night just due to being so uncomfortable.

i went to er and they said same thing. it’s very frustrating bc i feel like it’s something deeper and everyone is just dismissing me

During my first trimester, palpitations happened everyday, almost all day & got worse when I laid down. I went to the cardiologist, had a heart monitor placed for one day, and he said everything was normal (last year I had a heart monitor and stress echo done for palpitations and tachycardia). He said it’s just stress and anxiety. Second trimester, the palpitations haven’t been as bad thankfully. Always listen to your body and always see a specialist if you are ever questioning what you feel! Palpitations can also happen if you aren’t drinking enough water/fluids!

Starting around 31 weeks pregnant until birth I would have flares throughout the day where my heart would go from beating my normal while pregnant (78-90) all the way up to 140-150. Had ecg and echo done and everything was normal minus a small pregnancy heart murmur.

i have heart palpitations when i lay down- i’ve read/heard that it’s normal in pregnancy

Omg thank you guys! I’ll probably keep bringing it up with my doctor just in case, but it’s so comforting to know that what I’ve read is true and other people have experienced this! It’s just so dang annoying 🤦‍♀️

its normal from what ive heard its worse when i laydown and im focusing on it i also have anxiety so😂😂 if you have this along with other symptoms like dizziness, nausea, blurred vision, headaches and body numbness i would go to ER but otherwise its normal
