First Birthday Ideas…!!

I’m a single mama and wanted something lowkey with just me and my son and maybe my mum/siblings. Didn’t want to pay much because he’s not going to remember it and I just find it a waste of money & we live in a flat so no garden to host in (and not a lot of space inside to do it either!). So instead, I’m taking him to the aquarium the day before as just a me and him activity and then for his birthday, I’m going to do a picnic in the park (if weather is good) and just take a small cake/cupcake with us for him to enjoy. Our local park does free live music & entertainment every Sunday June - August from 11-3 so I’m thinking a picnic for lunch and he can play in the park and sandpit & there’ll be free entertainment too. Cheap and cheerful and still quite lowkey/intimate 🤎
