Full body workout that helps you lose weight fast and tone up in an hour at the gym?

I can go to the gym 3-4 times a week for an hour and it’s not guaranteed that I can go all 3 or 4 days every week. Can you hit me up with a workout regiment and how it worked for you and before and after pics if possible?

So I use FIIT and they have some great full body workouts on it. It’s about £20 a month but, in my opinion, it’s worth it :). They offer any type of full body workouts (low impact, level based etc) x

@Cassie so I have to pay £20 on top of my gym membership 🥹

Can you do classes at the gym? They are great for instructor led workouts that are usually full body. For loosing weight you’ll probably need to be doing some cardio to so something like a spin class would be great. Toning up will come from resistance training as this will help change your body composition. If you’re new to the gym I’d recommend doing machine based exercises before moving on to free weights. For a full body workout I’d recommend a mixture of upper and lower body machines such as chest presses, shoulder presses, lat pulldown and cable rows for upper body and then leg presses, leg extensions and seated leg curls for lower body, and ease into free weights from there. If you’re new to the gym I’d suggest have one of the PTs show you how to do new exercises so ensure you get the correct form. Most gyms will let you book an induction session where you can get shown how to work the kit.

I do @ MDJ Fitness classes on YouTube. It’s not a class per se but she gives you the session and explains the exercises and I just save them and follow as my little routine.

I’m not new to the gym. I already run for 2 miles in 20 mins . But I meant like a quick routine that I can do? E.g. 3 sets of 10 burpees 3 sets of 10 sumo squats and so on I know what do but can’t get them done in an hour. If that makes sense. So I’m looking for a quick routine. As I have 2 little ones and still breastfeed.

Can you workout at home? Working out at home changed my life. No more commutes, and I could follow free fitness instructors on YouTube. I just have dumbbells and kettlebells at home.

@Jen the gym is across the road from me. I need the gym as a break. I have a 3yo and 14 month old who are very active.

Fair enough! Totally empathise. My two and a half year old and six month old are the same 😂 I just would have time to workout every day if I had to try and get to the gym, my husband works 6 days a week 6am-6pm.
