Do your kids consider their hair to be part of their identity or a tool for self expression? Am definitely in that phase with my kiddo!

Every morning when I brush my son's hair he tells me "Mummy, brush it like myself. " this started after his Dad brushed it one day and styled it differently.

My son likes to keep his hair long. Everyone thinks he's a girl. he's so used to it that he doesn't even bother to correct people anymore...

My sons can pick their own haircuts and use some hair dyes. However I won’t let them bleach it which is damaging to hair. It’s their hair not mine and it grows back. 🤷🏻‍♀️ My youngest used to have a purple (ish) Mohawk then started shaving it off but he’s growing a Mohawk again. My older son doesn’t pick styles like that though.

I hate it when she dont wanna brush her hair because she scream in pain every time sometime it because snarled some I think she hears the brush and wants attention or me to stop. I make her brush her hair because I dont need people thinking I dont take care of her but I allow her to were It like she likes. She picks how it gonna be styled. We haven't gotten I to colors yet because her dad wont allow it unless it washes right out but I think it a form of finding out who you are and expressing herself.
