So sad today

So I’m having a baby shower/gender reveal that I gave people three months heads up about and it’s just sad when you’re pregnant. You really see how many people actually care I don’t understand why people RSVP and make me spend money on catering and cancel six days before and it’s the people that didn’t expect, I don’t know. I’m just pregnant and feeling sensitive but it hurts now so much food/ money is wasted I’d never do that to anyone 😢

I am so sorry! People suck. Enjoy ur party with the ones that did show. The others don't deserve a second thought. Today is about u and ur baby. Don't let them ruin it. Hopefully u have a better day!

I feel ya. I had an intimate brunch/mother blessing for a few friends and my doula and everyone showed up late and two not at all! I planned it for a month. I was angry, but I chose to be grateful that they showed up the best way they could. For those who didn’t show up for you be mindful of how they move and treat them accordingly. It’s hard when you open your heart with excitement and are let down but choose to focus on those who choose to make room for you. Hope that helps 🤗
