Petty!!
My partners mum decided to have a go at my partner the day I uploaded the photos of my 15-week scan because we didn't send them to her directly. I message her the day after she has a go at him and send her the update and picture.
She then tells me about how I posted it to MY Facebook page without sending it to her first. Believe it or not the day after she has a go at me about what I post about my baby she uploads a scan photo to her Facebook saying only 25 weeks to go and she's looking forward to it. Stupid cow!
Not even my own mum has been this controlling of my social media ever, so to have my partners mum think she has authority over what gets posted is ridiculous, right?
I understand she wanted to know, but that's not my job to update her, and I most certainly shouldn't have to get the thumbs up from her to post pictures of my own child!!
I explained to her that I was ill and working so I put it on Facebook to get a quick message out and she goes on to say it only takes 2 minutes to send a message. Ridiculous!!

This is absolutely ridiculous. I would have never even texted my MIL scan photos, let alone told her about potential baby names. I'd be so pissed if my mom or MIL shared my scan photos on their own FB!! You are already sharing so much with her! She should be hella grateful!!
my MIL would have done the same thing 🙄 as soon as we’ve had a scan, my partner says “i best send it to my mom before anyone else knows” … erm WHY!?! 😑 my mom doesn’t care who sees the pictures first as long as me & baby are okay, but nope. my MIL seems to think she should see first 🥱 idk why MIL’s think they have the right to see anything before anyone else 😂
