Lost all my photos 😭 two years of my babies gone!

I transferred all my data from my old phone with a broken screen to my new phone and everything came across except the photos. If I plug my old phone into my computer it says there's no data there. To say I'm devastated is an understatement! I recently backed up all my photos onto my computer, but when I went to retrieve them they were also gone. Has this happened to anyone else and could you get it fixed by a phone or computer tech? I'm so f sad

Omg thats my worst nightmare. Have you got a samsung cloud by any chance ... thats what saved me when a similar thing happened to me. I pray some tech savvy person will be able to help you ♡

@Mica I'll have to check. I thought I was on top of backing up my photos, but it mustn't have worked for some reason

Newer phones usually prompt you to setup cloud storage so hopefully it was turned on in the background.

The same thing happened to me not long ago. I trusted apple to help me backup and they didn’t do it correctly. Two years worth of my baby gone, memories of my family (trips overseas) and stillborn twins which I hadn’t shared with anyone :( I understand your pain I went through it like I lost somebody. I grieved all over again.

Omg this is so heartbreaking! I recommend using an app called family album to store all your photos, it's free and unlimited storage. I hope you can find a way to get those photos back 😭

I feel you, I also went through something similar but I managed to get some back from a really old samsung back I did but I had to call Samsung directly and stay on the phone for hours for restoration. So grateful though! I think you might have some luck especially with the computer. It's really hard to delete files from computers. Try this company - payam

@Jess thanks 🙏 I'm going to download this today. I found a lot of my photos stored on OneDrive, which I completely forgot I even had
