Potty training regression
Hi mamas, I started potty training my daughter 2.5 weeks ago. She was probably more than ready when I found the time. She’s been doing so well and insisted on wearing pants at night time, hasn’t wet the bed. Telling me when she needs to wee.
This morning when she woke, out of no where she refused to use the potty, she’s soaked herself 3 times. I’m constantly asking her if she needs to do a wee and keeps saying no. If I try bring her near the potty or toilet she absolutely freaks. All 3 times we could have made the potty but she just wouldn’t let me help. We’ve done nothing different and routine is the same. I know regressions are normal but this seems out of no where. Her big brother is 4.5 and fully trained so I’m not sure what caused it. Has anyone else gone through this and did it last long?

@Dani it’s so hard isn’t it. She’s staying dry at night in her pants it’s just using the potty during the day. She usually just had accidents when distracted and was really good at telling me when she needs to go. Your daughter’s regressions might be to do with having such a young baby in the house? Congratulations by the way ☺️ it’s all trial and error, I’m trying to reason with her this morning to use the potty 🫠 gonna be another long day

My daughter is going through it, we got to wearing pants and she started to not tell me when she needed the toilet so we’re on nappies again. i’ve insisted about using the toilet and constantly asking her but she doesn’t want to. I bought her a travel potty as well and we have never used it. i don’t know what to do either. i want to just try wearing pants all day but i have a 3 month old and i know am gonna struggle :(
