Usually the fertile window is around a week after the end of a period and ovulation a few days into the window. The best start would be to just take LH tests daily after your period to try and find your peak (ovulation will be due around 24 hours after peak test) but ovulation day does depend on the length your cycle so tracking periods and doing LH tests should help give you an idea. We have sex every other day in the fertile window and then again on ovulation day personally as daily sex can reduce sperm quality. I’ll put some common abbreviations used below CD - cycle day (cd1 is day 1 of your period, ovulation for me usually happens cd 16 though this varies and my period usually comes day 29 so then would go back to day one again) BD- baby dance/bed down. Aka sex. Cm - cervical mucous Ewcm - egg white cervical mucous (common indicator of ovulation) if there’s anything else you need to know pop a question below or feel free to message me

No it goes from the first day of your period, not when it ends.

I didn’t think I was fertile till I got pregnant
CD is cycle day, so the first day of your period is CD1. I really rate easy@home ovulation testing strips. They measure LH which peaks right before ovulation so it's a good estimate of when you'll ovulate.
