Lip tie??
My son is 4w and got cmpa so on prescription formula that is very thin
We are having issues with extreme colic and gas and some reflux too, both big vomits and also clear painful liquid in between feeds
He clicks when feeding and loses latch constantly and I feel like he takes on soo much air!
Does this look like a tip tie?
And if so where can I get it assessed/dealt with? Or are there bottles that are better? Currently using mam, tried tommee tippee but they are worse! He seems to curl his top lip and his bottom lip doesn’t even touch the bottle which I find weird - I’m not sure about a posterior tongue tie too but don’t know where to start getting assessed!

Yes this is an upper lip tie
This is a big upper lip tie! If you get it checked out, remember to mention the clicking sound and that she looses latch
So apparently no one in the uk will cut these until older? Been told by 3 people now they have no effect on feeding so got someone coming tomorrow to check for a posterior tongue tie but looks like I can’t get anything done about the lip 😔
Shame about the lip tie but at least you’re getting the tongue checked because that might solve a lot of the issues on its own and then can sort the lip tie out further down the road x
