Help! Uncomfortable

I’m 38 weeks today and I can barley sleep I keep needing to go for a wee every five minutes and after I wee I still have the feeling I’m desperate for a wee the last two days my inner thighs have been in so much pain to the point I can’t even walk and it’s so uncomfortable even lying down in bed causes pain it’s my first pregnancy can someone tell me what this is

it may be that your baby is moving lower down into your pelvis preparing for birth. does a bath give you comfort?

Could it be pelvic girdle pain? If so, your midwife can refer you for physio

It does sound like your baby is quite low into your pelvic area and pushing down. The pain you’re describing is most likely called Pelvic Girdle Pain. You can have physio but that takes a few weeks to work, by which baby will already be out. I’d recommend a pregnancy belt if you’re not using one throughout the day, and warm baths / hot water bottle when relaxing. It’s also safe to take painkillers, maybe just advise with a pharmacist first to make sure you get the correct dosage.
