Painful fetal movement

I'm 36 and 2 and all today baby hasn't been moving as much but still consistently and frequently. I've already talked to my doctor about this and she says all is well. My problem is that now when he does move it's become extremely painful. Almost as if he's fighting to get out through my skin. Has anyone experienced this and is there a cause for concern or solution.

I am also 36 and 2 and i definitely understand what your going through. My not so little guy is measuring 7 weeks ahead and he has more than run out of room. Just waiting out these last couple weeks has been rough but we’re almost there. My dr said everything is perfect with baby and being uncomfortable and movements being painful is normal at this stage.

@Kenya thank you. I'm worried he's going to stop growing from lack of room but I'll talk to my doctor about it.

It sounds normal since ur so far along. My baby moves positions sometimes and I complain to my bf it feels weird & like he’s pressed against my skin and it’s a bit painful. If ur doctor isn’t concerned don’t worry too much but u can ask for an ultrasound to watch his growth

I’m 36 + 4 and yes it is painful at times! He moves so suddenly and swipes his foot across my stomach. I know how you feel 😫it’s normal x

Definitely normal at this stage unfortunately as they run out of room, the movements become more painful. Been dealing with it pretty much since 36w and currently 39w, some days are crazy, other days not sooo bad but feels like he is trying to bust out the side daily 🤦‍♀️ lol
