When can you baby wear with your little one facing forward?

I think mine will love it but do I have to wait until they’re a certain age? Or is it a development thing like when they can sit up?

do car seat research please ! they have to reach a certain height or weight limit first but I believe it’s the weight ! I know 2 year olds that are still rear facing.

@Johnna they said baby wear not car seat. Aka baby holders for your body

OP- it’s more about hip dysplasia to wear them to your body. I highly recommend Emma Hubbard on YouTube who is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. In this video towards the end she discusses baby wearing. https://youtu.be/hJlljeWCexQ?si=Chty5wuqRngl6iWI
