Daycare drop off/pickup

For those of you who have a toddler in daycare, how do you manage the drop off/pick up times with the new baby? My baby is 7 days old and tomorrow my husband goes back to work so I’ll be by myself. I don’t quite have my strength back yet and very worried to make all of that work… Any tips? We don’t have any family support so asking a family member is not an option…

Haven't had this experience myself but I know some of my friends just keep their other LOs home for the first few days. Helps not needing to run around doing pickups and dropoffs and also helps keep the newborn from picking up viruses. Sounds like a lot of work having both home all day though!

Sorry if this is weird lol I also live in Palm harbor! My toddler isn't in daycare but maybe you can keep him home with you until you get in a good morning routine by yourself and feel stronger and more able to get him to and from daycare. I'm sure even keeping him home a week will make a lot of difference in how you feel and getting into routine a little bit!

@Alexus hey neighbor!!! honestly I feel like that would be even harder for me to deal with both of them at home as they have drastically different needs. Maybe the drop off/pick up will be challenging but at least I’ll know my toddler is being entertained all day and I can focus on the baby 🫶
