Epidural pain?

I’m 4wks postpartum and I’m still having pain where they placed my epidural. It’s constant then it’s like a stabbing pain every time I bend over which is all the time with a newborn. Has anyone else had this? Is this normal and it’s just still healing or is this a concern? If it doesn’t go away I’m talking to my OB about it at my 6wk follow up.

Not epidural but I had the spinal block from my c - section and I still get a pain in my back from where they put it in, and a dull ache at the same time! It’s enough to take my breath away! I’m 6 weeks pp, I think we may have got unlucky and a nerve may have been hit😢

It's a known side effect with the epidural. I had an epidural with my first (2019) and I still have back pain where they placed it.

I’m having the same problem I got the epidural then they had to give me a c section instead. I have pain whenever I stand something or sit too long in the spot they put the epidural and in my butt area.

I had my first son in 2010 and still have that pain from time to time. Hopefully yours goes away but almost 14 years later and mine is still here. I don’t think mine will get any better either, I had another epidural a month ago with my second baby. Might have to get used to it unfortunately.

I’m six weeks pp and I’m having the same issue it. But two years ago when I got it with first I didn’t have any issue

I’m 9 months pp and still experiencing epidural pain. Massages and the chiropractor help a lot, and I’m pretty active so I stretch, do yoga and go on walks daily which also help,

Same! Almost five week pp and I had two different epidurals, the first one didn’t take. And it’s a constant pain that doesn’t go away

Im 5 weeks PP and the stabbing pain went away for me, but struggle to bend over.. My back is def not the same.

Honestly my brothers girlfriend got the epidural and she is still having back pain and her baby is 10 months old. It is a known side affect and it will probably be a long time before us epidural mommas have our backs feeling better

@Maya not to scare u I'm bout to b 4 weeks PP n a nerve was hit too. So i had extremely severe headache AKA spinal headache (couldnt seat nor stand up had to be prone) which started next day at the hospital. They treated it with blood patch n pain meds. Since u r not hospitalized just try to drink a lot caffeineted drinks, n stay hydrated so the fluid that is leaking is "replaced". That's what they told me when being discharged.
