2/2.5 year review

I had mine, it when well, my daughter was giving some toys to play with and want to do a few thing stack blocks ect, she behind on a few thing but h.v said it OK she get there. All children develop at different stage. Talk about what my daughter like to do ect Also if you have any concern raise them with the h.v aswell.

We had ours and the health visitor ran through particular questions she was most interested in and interacted with our little one to see if he could do certain things. It was quite informal really. She asked about our support system, nursery, work etc. She weighed him and measured his height and then filled in his red book. Asked if we had any concerns. The only thing she raised was that he can't jump in the air with two feet off the ground 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 so wants to speak to us again in 3 months x

@Kirsty my daughter the same can't jump or won't jump, even tho I tried, hop and jump like a bunny ect.

@Kirsty really 🤔 just because he couldn’t jump that’s crazy of all things! I’m sure he will master it in no time thank you ☺️

we had ours a couple of months ago and my little one was abit behind on gross motor (she can't jump etc) so they followed up with her a couple of weeks ago but didn't seem concerned.

We had ours. I had to go through the questionnaire myself before the appt. I have twins. So one of them all was fine. The other could only say a few words: 17 and less, so she said she would refer us to speech and language. She rushed through all the questions. Did not weigh. Asked about general well-being or any concerns i may have. Then she left, barely taking half an hour for both twins. Ours was really rushed. Very informal.

We're 2 months shy of being 2 and half and no letters as of yet.

Is yours over in shepway? We had ours a few weeks ago! It was utterly pointless! They just went through the questionnaire and said “yup she’s all good” 😂

@Charlie no ours is booked in at our doctors surgery in coxheath all my other appointments during pregnancy and after have been in belay just not this one

Similar to the other reviews we’ve had…I think there was one at 14 months? I really can’t remember when it was tbh😅

Height and weight and taking through development for us and raising concerns although my little boys is very repetitive to a point where he freaks out if you don’t say what he needs you to say or things aren’t done in a certain routine pattern and his childminders had flagged it with them too he is being refered to the peadiatrics for suspected asd. It’s nothing to worry about just to chat about your kiddo and make sure they’re heading in the right direction and offer any support if needed 🙂

@Alice yeah it’s the same girls who go between the two. God knows why mine was shepway! Hope it goes better for you xx
