Pooping and labor?

So I’ve been having to go use the bathroom (💩)a few times already today. My stomach feels super heavy now and I feel like baby is definitely head down and lower. Not quite sure if this is a sign of approaching labor but I definitely hope not bc I’m only 35w 4d 🥴. FTM and I want my little girl to cook just a tad bit longer in there. At least until 39weeks. After that she can come ANY TIME she wants 🙏🏻

I wouldn't say that means labor is approaching. I am 36w2d and having to use the bathroom 3+ times daily since like 34 weeks

I think you’re good. It’s usually just baby pushing everything around and putting pressure on digestive system with them having less room

I started having digestive problems and baby is showing no signs of being ready to come out any time soon!

Lolol ok phew 😮‍💨 I keep seeing people say that they have intense urge to poop and poop a lot the days leading up to their labor. This was a little more than my norm so I got a little concern xD

literally. I legit be feeling like I gotta pee myself with every step I take these days 🥴🤣

I'm am 39 weeks

I'm 37w5, and I had 7 or 8 bowel movements yesterday! That is so not the norm for me. I think it is a sign that the body is preparing for labor, but I've got no idea when baby will arrive.

they say that contraction kinda make you feel like you gotta take a 💩 and apparently a lot of woman do poop themself while pushing 🤣 lowkey prefer this than constipation which was my biggest problem during my 1st and 2nd trimester 😩

Avatar

@Kimmy I agree. I'm grateful that I haven't had to deal with constipation at all this pregnancy, but the sheer number of times I've pooped recently is making me wonder if labor is happening.

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
