Ovulation? When do you start?

After your period ends when do you start your ovulation tests to get the most accurate results? I have a 27 day cycle.

I’m sure everyone has different answers but I always start checking my LH levels the day after just so I have a good idea of how each month goes . And it’s tracked in my Proov app and Premom / Flo app

I start cycle day 8, cycle day 1 is the first day of your period....although today is cycle day 7 and I checked it lol🤷🏻‍♀️

There should be a chart in the instructions for your LH strips that tells you when to start based on your cycle length. I'd start no later than cycle day 10. As Stephanie said, the first day of your period is cycle day 1.

typically ovulation is in the middle of your cycle. So hypothetically if your cycle is 27 days, around day 13/14 could be when you ovulate. If you’re testing your LH levels, I believe you’re supposed to start testing around day 9/10 so that you can see your surges to ensure that day 13/14 is your surge or not. as you see the line get darker from day 9/10 into day 13/14, you should be able to see when your surge is happening.

I use the premom app and it's pretty helpful at telling you when to test. It isn't 100% accurate when you first start but once you start using the test strips and entering your period, it can predict pretty well
